The cost for shipping is approx $200 to $245 (within the United States). The price variation is dependent upon destination and breed of dog being shipped because of the difference in the size of the sky kennel. The price includes the Puppy's airfare, an airline approved carrier and bowls, health certificate, harness and leash. We also delivery your puppy for $55 within 100 miles range (round trip) (All Prices are for a subject to Change). What is shipped with my puppy? Attached to the kennel will be the puppies guarantee, medical records, health certificate, food, and AKC registration papers. The puppy is shipped with a blanket that has the familiar smell of his litter mates. It is helpful for the puppy to have something of this sort to make his new adventure less stressful. We do ask that you contact us once your puppy has arrived and been picked up safely What requirements must be met before my puppy can fly? The temperature is a deciding factor in your pups departure, it cannot be too hot or too cold. Each airline has their own standards about the weather and the vet must note on the health certificate what temperature the puppy is acclimated to. It is USDA regulation states that a puppies must be at least eight weeks old before boarding an airplane. Should I worry about my puppy flying? I have shipped a lot of puppies and all have arrived safely. Shipping a puppy should not be a scary experience. When we prepare your puppy to fly, we ensure he/she has plenty of room in the kennel to stand and move about. The airlines also ensure your puppy is comfortable before accepting the puppy to board their airline. We attach plenty of food to the kennel and specify feeding/watering instructions for the airline to follow. We have used several different airlines with positive experiences from all. The airlines are all USDA regulated and have strict guidelines for taking care of the puppy. The puppy is put in the pressurized cargo compartment of the aircraft. What if I have more questions? Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns at all.
You can call us or email to us if you want to be on a waiting list.
